5 Dutch tech jobs with visa sponsorship, all checked live on 26 October:

Freshness check: we opened every employer posting on 26 October 2026, and these 5 were live. One we planned to feature had already closed. Postings close without warning, so the sooner you apply, the better.

Picnic logo

Design, build and test the systems behind Picnic's logistics, from route optimisation to the tools its electric-vehicle drivers use, across backend and frontend.

Perfect for developers who want product ownership early and are happy to work on backend and frontend alike.

Key skills: Java 21/25 with Spring Boot 3.5 and Reactor; React or Angular; RabbitMQ and Kafka; PostgreSQL and MongoDB; Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and Terraform on AWS.

At a glance: Amsterdam · office-first, with working from home when needed · 1–5 years · posted 23 October (3 days ago) · no salary on the listing

The Stack's take: One of 3 Picnic listings in the Netherlands on The Stack in 90 days, and it asks for only 1–5 years. The catch: it's office-first, and Picnic says hybrid seekers probably won't fit. Best for: a Java developer early in their career who likes being in the office.

Perfect for embedded and application engineers who like variety and want to lead architecture decisions.

Key skills: C++, C and Python in the high-tech domain; object-oriented design and UML; unit testing; Agile.

At a glance: Best, Noord-Brabant · hybrid · 5+ years · posted 12 October (14 days ago) · €57,000–€76,000 a year, all-in

The Stack's take: The only posting here with a salary: €57,000–€76,000, but that figure already includes the 13th month and holiday allowance. Dutch is preferred, not required. Best for: a C++ and Python engineer who wants high-tech hardware projects.

Roamler logo

Own the ML and LLM pipelines behind Roamler's outlet-data products, from entity matching and classification to embeddings, and take them from proof of concept to production.

Perfect for data scientists who have shipped LLMs, not just tested them in a notebook.

Key skills: Python (scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas); Spark, preferably PySpark; NLP and embeddings; LLM prompt design and evaluation; model hosting on AWS or Azure.

At a glance: Amsterdam (NDSM-Werf office) · hybrid, 2 days a week in the office · 5+ years · posted 30 September (26 days ago) · no salary figure; the posting offers a "competitive salary" plus 8% holiday allowance

The Stack's take: Visa sponsorship is offered only to candidates already based in the Netherlands or the EU. You'd be one of two senior data scientists at a company of about 130. Best for: an EU-based data scientist who has put LLMs into production.

Before you apply: the salary line that matters

Only one of these 5 postings, TOPIC's, states a salary, so ask for the base figure early. TOPIC's range is all-in, so ask how it breaks down per month. For a highly skilled migrant (kennismigrant) permit in 2026, the IND sets these minimum gross monthly salaries: €5,942 if you're 30 or older, €4,357 if you're under 30, and €3,122 under the reduced criterion for recent graduates. A European Blue Card also needs €5,942 a month, or €4,754 for recent graduates. Source: IND, Required amounts income requirements.

Some employers on The Stack, Picnic among them, offer help with the 30% ruling, which the Dutch Tax Administration now calls the Expat Scheme. To qualify in 2026 your annual salary must be above €48,013 (or €36,497 if you're under 30 with a master's degree), not counting the tax-free allowance, and you must be recruited from outside the Netherlands. Your employer isn't obliged to pay the full 30%, so agree the allowance in advance. Source: Belastingdienst.

How we picked these

We started from the 18 listings in the Netherlands added to The Stack in the last 30 days, all marked as offering visa sponsorship, leaving out the Jobgether aggregator. We kept one role per company and went for a mix of role types. Then we opened each employer's posting. Catawiki's Platform Engineer listing from 19 October now shows Catawiki's general openings page instead of the job, so it has closed and isn't here. Everything in "At a glance" and "The Stack's take" comes from the employer's own posting or from counts of listings on The Stack.

Wrapping up

If you're under 30, the IND salary bar drops to €4,357 a month, which puts Picnic's 1–5 year role well within reach. Wherever you apply, agree the 30% ruling in writing before you sign. New Dutch roles with sponsorship land on The Stack every morning.

Which role type should we round up next for the Netherlands: security, data or design? Let us know.
